Company Description (First of all, I'd like to make it clear that my personal photo is one of my daughter's wedding pictures. I'm the "old" one, the mother of the bride.) DD Recruiting is a small home-based business with one employee, for now. I started in this industry by doing some work for another small family-based established recruiter. Within a couple of months, I realized I was a natural at it, candidates liked me and trusted me, and I wanted to give it a try. The business is fairly new but I know the potential and I also know it takes time to get established enough for companies and/or clients to give a new business a chance. Besides, my many years of work experience and life experience have taught me to handle just about anything. If (when) I'm given the chance to recruit for some particular clients of my own rather than relying on split fee contracts only, I will prove how hard I can work. I want a contract to recruit for a company who will actually consider, and hire, my excellent candidates rather than waste my time by giving me a contract only to end up hiring from within. I definitely prefer a contract of my own over split fee contracts because it would give me direct access to the client instead of feeling like I'm "left in the dark", as I have been so many times before. I've been specializing in IT, telecom, engineering, web development, finance, etc. I'm willing to try working on just about any type of position because I have a varied work history and the ability to learn anything. My expectations from my membership: I'm hoping to give and, even more so, receive advice from my peers, access recruiter information that will help me grow my business, get information on products or services from other recruiters, find job orders to recruit on, find recruiters to work with me on job orders, splits, and hopefully, some contracts of my own to work on.

My Recruiting Background See "Company Description". I helped a small family-owned recruiting company who specialized mostly in telecom. I'd rather not mention the name of the company for personal reasons. I also did some work for a recruiter in Dallas, TX, for a short time while starting my own business.
Geographies That I work For now, all of the United States. I also have a lot of connections, mainly on LinkedIn, who are from other countries and I hope to do business all over the world someday.
